Wayne College to host College Credit Plus Info Night
The University of Akron Wayne College is hosting a College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Night for students entering grades 7-12 and their parents, to learn how to earn both college and high school credits at the same time for free. Taking place in the Student Life Building, the event is scheduled for Monday, March 4 at 6 pm.
Wayne College Multicultural Festival March 6-8
Celebrating Unity in Diversity is the theme during this year’s Multicultural Festival (formerly known as the International Festival) at The University of Akron Wayne College. Taking place March 6-8 in the Student Life Building, attendees can participate in educational sessions, such as “The Impact of ISMS,” dealing with racism, sexism, classism, etc., “Cultural Xi’an, China,” “Transylvania” and “Progressive Relaxation and Stress Management Techniques.”
The Akron campus Military Services Center is located in Simmons Hall 213 (map) and is available to assist you from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
