All new students are required to participate in a University orientation program. Orientation will prepare you for enrollment at Wayne College by providing academic advising, class registration, access to My Akron, student services and more. The following is a description of each session that you will attend during your orientation program.

Advising 101 discusses important, valuable information about various student services available, University policies, FERPA, classroom expectations, academics, activities and more.

Campus Tour

 Tour Wayne College and hear presentations from The Learning Center and the Library.

College Credit Plus Option

This session provides information for students and their parents who are currently in the College Credit Plus Program

Technology

 This session includes vital information about technology and how it relates to the classroom experience. Learn how to set up your e-mail account, register for classes, and an overview of computer access on and off campus.
