Stay informed: Ways to learn of campus delays and closures

Members of the campus community are reminded that there are several ways to learn of delays, cancellations and closures at the University:

Text messaging: Alerts will be sent via the University's Z-Alert text messaging service. Learn more and subscribe. 
UA Mobile App: Notifications are sent via the UA Mobile App. Learn more and download the app.
Website: Information will be posted on the University's website.
Email: A message will be sent to students' and employees' University email addresses.
Social media via Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter).
Radio and TV: Closing information will be provided to major radio and television stations in Akron, Canton and Cleveland.
