Accessibility Services strives to provide students with disabilities equal access opportunities and services geared for academic success at the University of Akron Wayne College. Our office is located in the Smucker Learning Center, Room B-107.
Accessibility Services provides services for students with:
Cognitive disabilities, such as learning disabilities or brain injuries
Physical disabilities, such as vision/hearing impairments or mobility issues
Psychological disabilities, such as ADHD, anxiety, or mood disorders
Temporary disabilities, such as short-term injuries or medical issues
Accommodations will not be approved until documentation from a qualified professional is presented to the ADA Coordinator.
