Tobacco-Free Campus

Locations affected starting July 1: The use of tobacco products is prohibited on all University grounds, whether leased or owned and in vehicles parked on university grounds, and at all university sponsored events, regardless of the venue. To remain good neighbors with our community, students and employees of the University are requested to refrain from tobacco use on sidewalks and other areas adjacent to university property. Wayne College to host College Credit Plus Info Night

The University of Akron Wayne College is hosting a College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Night for students entering grades 7-12 and their parents, to learn how to earn both college and high school credits at the same time for free. Taking place in the Student Life Building, the event is scheduled for Monday, March 5 at 6 pm.

Attend an upcoming Campus Visit Day, Monday, April 9 at 6 pm in the Student Life Building. Located at 1901 Smucker Rd. in Orrville, Campus Visit Days include campus tours, information about course offerings, admissions requirements, scholarship opportunities and financial aid.
