The University of Akron Wayne College is currently seeking part-time clinical and lab nursing instructors to support our growing associate degree in nursing (ADN) program. This new nursing program, which launched in January 2025, provides students with the foundational knowledge and hands-on clinical experience needed to become a registered nurse (RN). Unique to UA Wayne College, the program covers essential topics such as anatomy, pharmacology, patient care and medical ethics, preparing graduates to take the NCLEX-RN exam and begin their nursing careers in a variety of healthcare settings. With a focus on both classroom instruction and practical training, the ADN offers a fast track to entering the nursing profession.

For these positions, clinical and lab teaching experience is helpful but not required. Mentorship and onboarding support will be provided.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of an approved BSN registered nursing program

• At least 2 years of experience practicing as a registered nurse

• Current, valid Ohio RN license
