Pre-Finals Holiday Fun at Polar Express Event

UA Wayne celebrated the closing out of the semester and the upcoming holidays with two days of fun activities during the Polar Express event at the beginning of December. Pajama Day was the theme on Monday, Dec. 2nd and Ugly Sweater Day on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd. Students, staff and faculty voted for their favorite winter-themed window and door displays around campus. The Caring Canine Therapy Dogs visited the library to provide some de-stressing dog vibes. The Polar Express activities included a hot cocoa bar in the Smucker Learning Center, a make & take holiday ornament craft in the Community Room and holiday cookie decorating in the Student Services Center. Congratulations to the team in the Smucker Learning Center, who, by popular vote, won the Winter Wonderland Snowman trophy for best window/door display. The Polar Express was the last event of the fall semester and plans are being made for exciting student activities and events for the spring semester.
