UA Wayne Earns Military Friendly Designation
The University of Akron Wayne College is proud to announce it has been recognized with a Military Friendly Schools designation by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs magazine. The recognition puts UA Wayne in the top 15 percent of all colleges, universities, and trade schools that are doing the most to ensure veteran success both inside the classroom and post-graduation.
“The transition from military to civilian life can be an adjustment,” said Barb Caillet, manager of student services and veterans certifying official at UA Wayne. “We provide the support services our military need to succeed as they prepare for new careers.” In many cases, a veteran’s military and service background can translate into academic credit.
As ICD-10 implementation approaches, getting up to speed on the new codes takes on new urgency. Preparation is key to avoiding lost revenue and workflow, regardless of the type of organization.
To help prepare your organization, Wayne College is offering two convenient courses this summer to ensure those who work with ICD-10 can easily navigate and use the code set.
