UA WAYNE HOLMES CAMPUS CLICKING PHOTOGRAPHY UP A NOTCH

The tradition of summertime photography classes at the Wayne College Holmes Campus will click up a notch this year with a course designed for owners of Digital SLR or advanced point and shoot cameras. The course, entitled “Learn to Know and Love Your Digital SLR: Making great photos with a great camera” will be a “beyond the basics” class aimed at learning to effectively navigate the different settings of your camera to select the most effective for different shooting conditions and subjects.

The class will take place on Tuesday evenings August 5, 12 and 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wayne College Holmes Campus in Millersburg led by Steve Upperman, an accomplished outdoor, landscape and portrait photographer with over 20 years of experience.

Students will need to bring their camera along with the camera’s manual and are urged to make sure they’ve got a fully charged battery and storage space in the camera for plenty of shots taken in class. The course fee is $35 for the entire three week session.
