New Endowed Textbook Scholarship - Janet Barnett Minc and David C. Minc Endowed Scholarship

10/29/2013

The Janet Barnett Minc and David C. Minc Endowed Scholarship has been established with a gift from Dr. Janet Barnett Minc. The Janet Barnett Minc and David C. Minc Endowed Scholarship, formerly known as the Wayne College Achievement Scholarship for Textbooks, was established by Dr. Janet Barnett Minc, Professor of English, to assist continuing Wayne College students in the purchase of textbooks for their classes. The cost of textbooks has become a significant burden for college students, and the purpose of this scholarship is to support Wayne College students’ educational goals by enabling them to have the necessary resources for their classes. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time, second-year Wayne College student, have a minimum 3.5 GPA, and demonstrate a financial need. Students will be able to apply for this scholarship when the Wayne College scholarship application process begins.

If you would like to help grow this fund and ultimately provide scholarships for more students, then please consider contributing to the Janet Barnett Minc and David C. Minc Endowed Scholarship online at http://wayne.uakron.edu/supportus/ or by check.
