The University of Akron Wayne College will be holding a group visit day on Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. in the Student Life Building located at 1901 Smucker Rd., Orrville. In addition to campus tours, information will be provided about the admissions process, course offerings and financial aid.
The group visit is for both traditional-aged and adult students, and will offer attendees a chance to ask questions of campus representatives in a small group setting.
Additional group visit days will be held the second Monday of every month through August, 2014. Visit days are set for Nov. 11, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, and Aug. 11.
The University of Akron Wayne College offers bachelor’s degrees in business administration, social work and organizational supervision as well as the first two years of nearly 300 additional bachelor’s degrees. UA Wayne also offers associate degrees in business technology, healthcare office management, exercise science, technical studies and paraprofessional education; a number of certificate programs; and a postsecondary option program for high school students wishing to take dual enrollment classes that fulfill both high school and college credit requirements.
