Recent Gifts to Wayne College

05/19/2014

  • Barry Romich and The Romich Foundation recently gave a gift that allowed the College to purchase two more 3D printers. This will allow more students better access to the printers and provide opportunity for service to the community. We thank Barry Romich and his Foundation for this kind gift to help expand the possibilities with the 3D printing projects.
  • The Louis Russell Wilson III Memorial Scholarship has now become endowed because of a generous gift from the estate of Russ Wilson. Russ worked at Wayne College for over 20 years. He served most of that time as Coordinator of Academic Advising. His colleagues created the scholarship after his unexpected passing in 2012. His estate gift will continue to help students every year.
  • Thanks go out to Dr. Denise and Charles Uitto for currently endowing their Wayne College Student First Scholarship. The scholarship, which they established in 2008, will now create an award annually through the fund established at the University of Akron Foundation.
