UA Wayne College Seeking Volunteers for GOBA Event

On June 15, over 2500 bicyclists will spend the night at The University of Akron Wayne College in Orrville as part of the 2014 Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA). A wide variety of special activities are being planned for the event, including a concert at Orr Park by the Fleetwood Mac tribute band Rumours www.rumours.us, tours from 1-4 p.m. at the Orrville Heritage Railroad Museum www.orrvillerailroad.com and an outdoor movie at Wayne College.

To make this event a success, community volunteers are being sought to help with various duties. No matter what your skills or interests, there’s something you can do to help! The planning committee is also open to additional ideas for helping guests have a wonderful, one-of-a-kind experience during their Orrville stay at Wayne College.
