The sports calendar began in the fall with women's volleyball. Second year coach Jennifer Kiper led her team to a 0-12 season. The team hopes to use the valuable lessons learned this season to return to the form of the fall of 2011 when the women's volleyball team won both the regular season and tournament title.
The winter season means basketball at Wayne College. Third year coach, Jerome Moss, is optimistic that this year's women’s team can finish with a record of above .500. First year men's coach, Jerry Nairne, is eager to continue the success of the men's program. The men's basketball team has won 3 straight ORCC East Division titles in 2011, 2012, and 2013 with a 2013 Ohio Regional Campus tournament championship. The spring brings the final sport season at Wayne with men's golf. The team is eager to continue their success that brought them the 2013 regular season and tournament titles. The recent success of the Wayne Warriors athletic teams is unrivaled in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference thanks to the hard work of our student athletes and their coaches.
