I am thrilled to join the faculty at Wayne College and return to my passion of teaching accounting.  I bring to my teaching a background as internal auditor, church treasurer, instructor, tutor, accounting assistant and volunteer tax preparer.
My husband and I have two teen daughters, one of whom has special needs and has inspired me to mentor, advocate, speak and write, sharing our experiences and life lessons.  Some of our journey is documented in my essay “Too Much Reality” in Stan Klein’s (Ed.) You Will Dream New Dreams.
I also have a love for theater and have enjoyed acting, writing and directing for our church drama team.  I had the privilege to serve as set decorator for the full feature film "Bringing Up Bobby" produced by Glowing Nose Productions, being re-released October 2010 by Provident Films.  I also had the opportunity to perform voice recordings for "Return to the High Dive" Audio Companion, Crosspoint Scripts Collection.
