Mark Ruz Parvin, Ph.D.
Title: Senior Lecturer
I have been lecturing at Wayne College for the University of Akron, for over a year. My doctorate, master's, and undergraduate degrees are all within the area of Economics. I grew up in Bath, Ohio and was born in New York City. I play chess as a hobby; I am rated in the top 5% chess players within the U.S. My two doctoral fields of specialization were International Economics, and Macroeconomics. My Ph.D. dissertation title was the following, "Interest Differentials and International Stock Return Differentials as Empirical Determinants of Exchange Rate Movements".
