Title: Lecturer in History/Humanities
Office: College of Arts and Sciences 206A
I have taught Humanities at the University of Akron since 1983, and at Wayne College since 2003. In the 2005-2006 academic year, I added the United States History survey courses to my CV, and the World Civ course in Southeast Asia as well. My belief is that in recognizing major thought patterns, events, and their interconnections in these fields, we develop a foundation for cultural literacy and sharpen our analytical and writing skills. I feel Wayne College does a great job in preparing the student for further learning. My outside interests include reading, folk music, antiques of all kinds, and coaching baseball.
