A majority of our students work while in college, showing the motivation and work ethic you are seeking. At Wayne College they are gaining the liberal arts and critical thinking skills requested by employers as well as the specific content and technical skills required in the current job market.
We work closely with employers who have current needs for the skills that Wayne College associate degree students and graduates are developing. You can post full-time, part-time or temporary openings with Career Services.
E-mail, fax or mail your opening to us by contacting:
Phone: 330-684-8928 or 1-800-221-8308, ext. 8928
These opportunities will be posted on our bulletin board, distributed to appropriate faculty and also posted on our Wayne College Web site at http://126.96.36.199/employmentop_area.php. (Please let us know if you do not want Web posting).
Contact us if you also wish to arrange a table to recruit on campus during the lunch hour or we can reserve an interviewing room for your convenience.
Wayne College students need to gain experience in their field/major. Let us know of internship or other experiential opportunities your organization might want to offer.
Note: Internships for academic credit will be arranged through the appropriate faculty adviser. Informal internships and other opportunities can be facilitated through Wayne College Career Services.
For additional assistance for baccalaureate degree students, you may wish to contact The Career Center at The University of Akron. They also work with long-range recruitment and job fairs. Visit them at http://www.uakron.edu/career/.
We would appreciate any assistance you can provide to Wayne College students in developing career paths, such as mentoring, shadowing, or interviewing practice and presentation.
