Wayne College Information Session on May 12

The University of Akron Wayne College is holding an information session on May 12 at 6 p.m. in the Student Life Building located at 1901 Smucker Rd., Orrville. In addition to campus tours, information will be provided about the admissions process, course offerings and financial aid.

The information session is for both traditional-aged and adult students, and will offer attendees a chance to ask questions of campus representatives in a small group setting.

Details will be available at the information session regarding several bachelor’s degrees that can now be completed in their entirety on the Wayne College campus, including business administration, social work and organizational supervision. The first two years of nearly 300 additional bachelor’s degrees are also offered on the campus along with associate degrees in business technology, healthcare office management, exercise science, technical studies and paraprofessional education. Other options include certificate programs and a postsecondary program for high school students wishing to take dual enrollment classes that fulfill both high school and college credit requirements.
