Postsecondary options program explained during UA’s Holmes Campus Information Night

02/19/2014

A Postsecondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) information night will be held at the Holmes Campus of The University of Akron Wayne College on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 at the Holmes Campus, 88-B E. Jackson St., Millersburg.

PSEOP was created in 1989 by the State of Ohio to allow qualified high school students to enroll in a college or university and receive both high school and college credit. Tuition, textbooks, materials and fees related to the coursework are covered by the program.

Information about the Holmes Campus, application procedures, and a tour of the campus will be available. Former and current PSEOP students will be on hand to answer questions and explain how PSEOP works for them. Former PSEOP student, Allie Schwartz, now a junior at The University of Akron, said, “Postsecondary was a great experience. While I was still in high school, I was able to adjust to a college environment and finish most of my general education requirements. I graduated from high school as a college sophomore at no cost and will finish my bachelor’s degree a year early.”

No RSVP is necessary. For more information, please contact the Holmes Campus at 330-674-2514.
