Biography

Dr. Zhijun Yin currently serves as Assistant Professor in Mathematics at The University of Akron, Wayne College. Dr. Yin has held faculty positions in higher education for eight years and has taught more than 60 sections of math courses, including: Calculus I, II and III, Introduction to Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Intermediate Algebra, Introduction to Calculus, Elementary Linear Algebra, Linear Algebra, Applied Linear Algebra, Matrix Theory, Elementary Abstract Algebra, Introduction to Number Theory, Introduction to Algebraic Coding Theory, Cryptography. Dr. Yin’s research interest are Modern Cryptography, Coding theory, Symbolic Calculation, Abstract Algebra.
