Mark has been at Wayne College since 2009 teaching courses in social sciences. Mark is graduated with honors with a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Bluffton College and is a lifetime member of the Psi Chi International Psychology Honor Society. Upon graduating with a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University College of Social Work and Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University John Glenn School of Public Affairs, Mark was named a member of the Phi Kappa Phi international honor society. Mark is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Designation in Ohio. Mark has worked with students in the Distinguished Scholars program at Wayne College including work on word cloud infographics as research tools and developing evidence-based social work skills. His interests include the sociology and policy issues of mental health, substance abuse, crime/deviance and poverty.
